Boardpark : yes and this year it possesses a pipe-dragon in addition to a quarter pipe, various style jumps and a sound system (very important!).
Good for boarders?: WSG 2004 (World Snowboard Guide)- rates Mayrhofen as a good all-round resort with a healthy snowboard presence, both freeriders and freestylers. Carvers have a mountain that seems made for them, with a number of super wide and open cruising trails.
Suitable for beginners?: excellent in fact. Some of the best ski schools in the alps.
Suitable for intermediates?: yes it's cool. With your Zillertal 3000 pass you'll be able to explore thirteen ski areas - that's an area of 350 km's of pisted runs.
Suitable for Advanced ?: there's a couple of really challenging runs in Mayrhofen, but the glaciers only 20 mins away on the free ski bus and that's got enough blacks, long reds and mogul fields for the most extreme snow enthusiast.
The Good Ski & Snowboard Guide recently awarded Mayrhofen the title "most improved European resort", following the considerable additions to the ski area & new cable car system, whilst the fun park was adjudged the best in europe by Burton.
